Service Update

We provide both in person and digital / online speech and language therapy services.

Digital / online services – Online assessments and therapy enable us to help more children and young people to access the support they need, regardless of location.

We can offer online assessment and therapy appointments in the child’s / young persons home , school or wherever is the most appropriate setting. 

Children and young people can see their therapist on-screen, use interactive tools and ask family members, teaching staff or other people from their support network to join their sessions remotely.

“In Person Services” across Lancashire, South Cumbria, and Cheshire.  – Therapists can provide in person assessment and therapy appointments in 

• the child/young persons setting / school, 
• children’s homes / nurseries,
• our centres (depending on location)

For organisations who need to bridge gaps in service delivery, our team of experienced speech and language therapists can provide short to long term solutions for recruitment / resource and capacity issues. We have experience in delivering reduced waiting list targets for the NHS, both assessment and therapy and contributing to diagnostic neurodevelopment pathways

Happy Talk’s highly experienced and specialist team of Speech and Language Therapists and assistants continue to offer a range of services including:

• Home visits
• Individual and group appointments for assessment and therapy are also available at our new centre in Poulton-le-Fylde and satellite provision in Wrea Green and Macclesfield.
• School and Nursery visits.
• Remote service provision for settings or at home.
• Online training courses for practitioners.
• Workshops for parents / carers.
• Sub Contract Services for the NHS and other organisations.
• Telephone consultations to assist with directing potential clients to the most appropriate pathway / services.
