“My son, age 7, has been having weekly speech therapy with Rebecca from Happy Talk for 18 months. These have been zoom sessions which have worked brilliantly for our convenience. My son has made amazing progress and I can’t thank Rebecca enough.She has made every session fun as well as teaching my son how to produce essential sounds and how to talk smoothly. Rebecca took a keen interest in my sons likes, dislikes and school topics. She quickly incorporated racing cars, footballers, space and pictures of his favourite toys into her entertaining slide shows and stories. She knew how to keep my son motivated even when he was feeling tired and always had him smiling throughout the sessions. Rebecca’s bubbly personality enabled my son and I to soon develop friendly conversations with her regarding our home life and weekly routines. My son would happily engage in conversations regarding any activities he’d done that week before Rebecca started her session with him.Rebecca has always been there for me to contact about any new or long-standing concerns. Her reports regarding my sons speech showed her highly professional knowledge and understanding regarding severe speech disorders.My son is now in a position where he can be discharged from Happy Talk. We will miss our regular sessions with Rebecca but we will definitely contact Happy talk again if we need any additional help in the future”

Happy Talk Therapists are very professional and supportive. The Happy Talk Service provided was of the highest quality/ standard. The Speech & Language Therapists went over board to support myself and the pupils and were enthusiastic, friendly, skilled and efficient in delivery. ‘Happy talk’ is a service I would definitely recommend to any other providers seeking therapists.
I would like to thank Rebecca for her brilliant speech session this morning. She was able to keep my son’s attention and motivation so well and he even smiled throughout the session. Her IT skills are brilliant which enabled the zoom session to run smoothly. She was full of praise for my son and we both learnt a lot. Her lovely manner and preparation prior to the session is much appreciated.
Our Happy-talk Therapist has worked very well training EYFS staff and supports them each week. She has also supported school by contributing to TAC and EHCP meetings. It is evident that school has many benefits from the Happy Talk Therapists expertise and long may this continue.
We are walking on air today (or rather I am). Busting with pride, happiness and hope. I remember talking to you on the phone and begging you to help me. The progress our son has made since mid- November has been huge. Today watching our son & Kirsty interacting brought tears to my eyes. It’s one thing interacting with me and close family but to interact with someone he has met once in such a way is another huge leap.
Hello, I just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with Natalie and how hard she works at our school. She goes above and beyond with the children and is a pleasure to work with. I am so pleased to be able to call her part of our team. All our young people love her and cannot wait to have their session with her.
My son is really enjoying Kirsty’s classes she is really patient with him as sometimes he struggles to focus and he can’t sit in one location. She is really good at trying to engage him the whole time.
Afternoon, I just wanted to offer some feedback with regards to Natalie and Elizabeth’s sessions. Natalie has been working on verb phrases with Elizabeth. Elizabeth is now confident with a using range of verbs in context and also in spontaneous speech. Natalie has done a fabulous job at engaging Elizabeth and improving her vocabulary. Elizabeth really enjoys her time with Natalie and engages really well with the resources that she brings. Natalie has also offered me guidance in how to promote more fluent speech with Elizabeth. This has been very useful and I can not express how grateful I am to have her as part of Elizabeth’s support network.
I just wanted to tell you how pleased I am with Natalie. She instantly clicked with our daughter and she really enjoyed her session. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for providing this service for us.
The therapy has been effective as I have started to master the sounds I found difficult. I would recommend Happy Talk, also Gillian is a very good teacher and very easy to get along with, also therapy has been fun!
We are so grateful for the personal help and service Gillian has given our son and ourselves . Her ability to understand ways to help our son communicate, where we were really struggling is truly inspiring and we will be forever grateful for the difference it has made for him , and ourselves .We would definitely recommend her services to everyone and have passed her name on already.
